April Louise Liebert Obituary (2023)

With profound sadness we announce the passing of April Louise Liebert at the age of 66. April passed suddenly on October 20, 2023, when heaven received a fabulous and special angel. She leaves behind countless loved ones: her daughter Victoria Stockton, son in law Chad Stockton, son Frank English, husband Mike and grandchildren: Cheyenne and Everett Stockton, as well as Gage English. Nieces and Nephews include: Sarah, Derrick, Andrew and Brothers and Sisters; Howard, Edwin, Terry, Kaliesia and Laura. April was born in Skykomish, WA but spent most of her life in Yakima and Selah WA. In 1977 she married Frank R. English with whom they shared two children: Victoria and Frank. Together they owned numerous businesses, most memorably The La Casa Motel in Union Gap, WA which they manned for 30 years. April moved on to marry Mike Liebert and resided in Selah, WA where they both retired from Tree Top. There was never a person or dog that was not impacted by the wonderful giving, selfless person April was. She was best described as a loving, energetic, and beautiful lady with a touch of hippie, as well as grandma of the century. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was known to drop everything and drive 45 mins if any of them needed a ride, new shoes, or just a hug. There isnt a poem, song or even words to describe April. She was simply amazing and will be in our hearts forever. Services will be held on Friday November 3, 2023 at 1:00pm at Calvary Cemetery 1405 S 24th Ave, Yakima, WA 98902.
