Jada Michelle Stevenson Obituary (2023)

Jada Michelle Stevenson, mother of Arya and Cristina, passed away on June 18, 2023. She was 22 years old. Jada was born in Yakima, Washington, and attended school in West Valley. Jada was known in the community for her skills on the soccer field. During her soccer career, she made lifelong friendships through Central Washington Sounders Academy, West Valley High School, Chiquilladas, and Yakima United. The best memories were made with her dad by her side as her coach and number one supporter. Jada was smart and enjoyed drawing. She was an amazing artist. Although far too short, Jada had a meaningful life in her relationships with her family. Jada was the best sister. She loved playing soccer and video games with her brothers and was her older sisters protector. Most importantly, she was a patient and wonderful mother. We will forever miss you Jada but will not allow our grief to overshadow our love and memories with you. Jada is survived by her beautiful daughters, Arya and Cristina, parents, Jennifer Fife, Dennis and Marla Stevenson, and siblings, Tyra Stevenson, Lino Stevenson and Paolo Stevenson, Grandma Carmen Matson and Papa Rod Matson, aunts, Tina Longmire, and Angela (Ryan) Ringer, Papa and Nana Jesus Cordova, Uncle Jonathan (Sara) Cordova, Grandma Margaret Mong, Uncle Andy Espinoza, and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. She was preceded to heaven by Grandpa Gary Fife, and Grandpa Dennis Stevenson. A Viewing will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936), from 4:00-7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 3:00pm, at Brookside Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life Reception at the Selah Civic Center, at 5:00 pm.
