(Corley) Collins on August 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 26, 1964, Linda was a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend; she was a beacon of strength and resilience, a true testament to the human spirit's capacity to fight against adversity. For four long years, Linda bravely battled bone cancer, exemplifying a determination that inspired all who knew her. Her unwavering spirit shone brightly even in the face of immense challenges, serving as a reminder of the power of love and hope. Linda was not one to succumb to despair; instead, she fought valiantly, turning her illness into a journey of strength and inspiration for her family and friends. Surrounded by her devoted mother, Faye Gefroh, and her siblings, Juanita Brown, Sandra Corley, and Brian Gefroh (Rhonda), Linda found solace in their unwavering support. Her five cherished nephews and nieces and nine great nieces and nephews brought boundless joy into her life, and it was in their presence that she thrived. Linda had a remarkable talent for brightening any room she entered, creating an atmosphere of warmth and inclusion that made everyone feel special. Beyond her immediate family, Linda's kindness extended to everyone she encountered. She had a unique ability to forge connections, making friends effortlessly, and her positive spirit left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Her compassion for animals was equally profound; she nurtured pets with the same affection she offered her family, treating them as cherished members of her household. Linda's love for life was evident in her favorite pastimes. She relished long, sun-soaked days, loved the beach and mountains where she embraced the beauty of nature and the joy that each season brought, from the blooming blossoms of spring to the golden hues of fall. These moments were a cherished escape for Linda, a place where she basked in the simple pleasures of existence. As we pause to honor Linda's remarkable life, we owe a debt of gratitude to the compassionate nursing staff at Crescent Convalescent, Heartlinks Hospice & North Star Cancer, each of whom provided exceptional care throughout her journey. Their compassion, dedication and kindness, were invaluable during her courageous battle. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Saturday, August 24th, at 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home in Moxee, WA. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in honoring her memory, reflecting on the indelible mark she left on this world. As we bid farewell to our beloved sister, aunt, and friend, we take solace in the thought that Linda is now our guardian angel, watching over us with the same love and warmth that she shared during her time with us.
