Carl Raymond Howell

Carl Raymond Howell was born on December 30, 1958, in White County, Arkansas, to Joseph Jay Howell and Eva Mae Kelsey Howell. He passed away on December 30, 2022, in Yakima, Washington, at the age of 64.

Carl was a simple man with a great number of friends and family that loved him. He also had god-parents, Mike and Cheryl Hoffman, that ensured he had birthday parties and Christmas presents while growing up in Union Gap. They also took him to the mountains, camping.

Growing up, he enjoyed summer trips to the mountains, camping with his father, Jay, and brother, Terry.

He is proceeded in death by his Father and Mother, oldest brother Charles Howell, oldest sister Norma Jean Howell Bundy, and half-sister Stella Mae Howell Thompson.

Raymond grew up in Union Gap and Yakima, Washington, after moving from Arkansas in 1961.

He is survived by his brothers, Carol Dee Howell, of Chester, Arkansas, Larry Joe (Diane) Howell, of Chester, Arkansas, Leon Howell, of Idaho, Tom (Vicki) Howell, of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and Terry Lee (Lorinda Fowler) Howell, Richland, Washington, sister, Wanda Louise Luhrs, of Yakima, Washington, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family intends to have him inurned at Henderson Cemetery, in Pangburn, Arkansas, near his father in the family plot, at a later date.
