Catherine Rose VARGAS Obituary (2024)

We lost a precious rose from our garden, and Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Our Beautiful daughter Catherine Rose Vargas went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2024. Catherine Rose Vargas was born April 16, 1984 to her parents Esiquio Vargas Jr. and Rhonda Vargas in Port Townsend Washington. She was raised in the Yakima Valley graduating from Toppenish, Washington in 2002. In 2002, her senior year, she gave birth to her oldest son Andrew Vargas and still was strong and resilient enough to finish high school and work full time. She worked at the Toppenish McDonald's from the age of 16 through 18 and then went on to many other careers including manager at K-Mart and later manager at McDonald's Union gap. This is where she worked until her second son Brandon Vargas was born. She worked a lot of other jobs throughout the valley. She lived around many places in the valley and eventually moved back to the coast. Catherine moved back to the valley after several years and had her 3rd and final son Danerin Wardleigh. Our beautiful Catherine made friends wherever she went and was loved by so many. She has left behind many family members including her father Jr. Vargas, mother Rhonda Vargas of Yakima, three siblings Christina Vargas of Yakima, Crystal Quintero (Dio) Of Chandler, Arizona, and Jeremy Vargas of Yakima, her son Andrew Vargas of Yakima, son Brandon Vargas (Lexus) of Yakima, son Danerin Wardleigh of Yakima, and grandmother Frances Enriquez of Yakima, as well as several uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by several friends including her love, Kyle. She was preceded in death by her brother Justin Lee Vargas, paternal grandfather Esiquio Vargas Sr., maternal grandfather Eldon Zimmermann and maternal grandmother Violet Zimmermann, as well as many other beloved family and friends. She will be greatly missed and loved eternally. There will be a family celebration of life service TBD. Any cards or flowers can be dropped off at Brookside Funeral Home or they can be brought at the time of the service once the service details are finalized.
