Daniel F. Dezsi

Daniel F. Dezsi, age 85, of Tieton WA passed away peacefully on August 5, 2015 at home with his son Tim and daughter-in-law by his side. He was born on February 9, 1930 in Sharon, PA to John and Bertha Dezsi.
Dad, grandpa, pops was a lifelong Navyman. He was a veteran of WWII, Korean & Vietnam wars. He loved cooking, being outside by the fire, nature and was an avid cat lover. He always said that water was only good for two things making coffee and taking a shower. He despised the San Francisco 49ers but loved his Seattle Seahawks and prior to his passing, kept asking when football was coming on.
He is survived by his 6 children: Timothy (Jackie) Dezsi of Tieton, WA, Joanna Nash of Tieton, John Dezsi of Sacramento, Calif, Bob Newton of San Jose, Calif, Rebecca Dezsi of Porterville, CA; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Bertha Dezsi, his siblings and his oldest daughter Paula.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Shelby Anderson with Memorial Hospice, Dr. Waverly, and Pastor Dan Rogers, for all the love, care and support through this transition in out lives.
And a very special thanks to Julie Lynn Husch of Wapato WA for touching Dad in such a very special way. You were 'his girl', one of his angels.
In lieu of flowers we would ask if you could please make a donation to Memorial Hospice or Northstar Lodge.
There will be no viewing or services. There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date.
