Delores June Hunsaker Obituary (2023)

Delores "June" Hunsaker was born July 20, 1936, to Vernon and Goldia Richards, five miles from Mansfield, Missouri, on a farm. God took her home on November 3, 2023. Praise the Lord, she is free from pain and is celebrating with all those who left before her. She married Earnest "Roy" Hunsaker on August 7, 1954. Two days after their marriage, they moved to Entiat, Washington. They lived in several places in Washington, including Wenatchee, Puyallup, Grandview, Wapato, Wiley City, West Valley and the last move to Moxee. June had a lot of different jobs. She worked in the fruit, thinned, picked, twined grapes, sorted and packed fruit. She worked in offices, managed a store in Yakima and the job of her life started in 1973, when she signed up for Home Interiors and Gifts. She became a director in 1980 and then a Branch Director in 1990. She traveled the United States and outside of the U.S., China, Korea (twice), Canada and Mexico. She retired in 2014. She accepted the Lord when she was 10 years old. She has belonged to the Terrace Heights Baptist Church since 1968. She is survived by her three children, Dan, Brad (Kari), and Stacy (John), seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, with one on the way, two great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way, her brother-in-law, Edward "Carey" Hunsaker (Gevaughn) and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Goldia Richards, her husband, Roy, four sisters, Ada, Patsy, Sue, and Rose, one grandson, Jeramy Hunsaker, several nieces, nephews, and many other family members. Our family would like to invite those who knew her to her "Going Away Party." It will be held on November 18, 2023, at 12:00pm, at Terrace Heights Baptist Church. A Reception will follow. Flowers may be sent to the church for her "Going Away Party."
