Dennis Paul Williams Obituary (2024)

Our family wants to announce the passing of Dennis P. Williams on May 18th, 2024 after a valiant battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Born on July 7, 1941 in Yakima, WA to Louie and Mary Williams, he was the oldest of four siblings. He was raised in the valley where he met and married the love of his life, Marilyn Angelo. They were married for over 60 years until the time of his passing. Dennis had a passion for cars and owned a local car dealership for over 55 years, among owning various other businesses. His passion for stock car racing included him as a driver, and also in the mid 1990s, he took over as the track promoter of the Yakima Speedway. Dennis is survived by his wife, Marilyn, son Vince (Sherlyn), daughter Kandi (Tommy), three grandsons Denny, Clay, and Garrett, two great grandchildren Alana and Gracin, and a sister, Janet. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ron, and sister Sharon. Special thank you to Dr. Sloop and his staff and to the staff at MultiCare Memorial Hospice and Cottage in the Meadow.
