Dolores Ileane Hagler

–

Moxee, Washington

"Granny" was born November 19, 1927 in Nokomis, IL, was a beacon of warmth and love to all who knew her. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Dolores' life was characterized by unwavering faith, boundless love, and spirited competitiveness. Her heart was always filled with compassion and her home always echoed with laughter. Dolores was a retired real estate agent, a profession that allowed her to extend her natural warmth and dedication to help others. She found joy in sewing for her granddaughters and great granddaughters, and her competitive spirit shone forth during family games. Her commitment to family was unwavering, and she cherished nothing more than the joyous clamor of family gatherings.

As a faithful member of the Greek Orthodox Church, Dolores' faith was a cornerstone of her life. From the Book of Matthew (5:16), we are reminded of her radiant spirit: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Dolores embodied this verse, with her good works and the light of her love and faith shining brightly in her family and community.

Dolores leaves behind a loving family: her children Nathanial (Glenna) Hagler, Paula (Bryan) Roach, and Lance (Julie) Hagler; her eight grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Her spirit will also be remembered by her daughter-in-law Julie, son-in-law Bryan, and daughter-in-law Glenna. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ray Hagler, her father Jack Glasgow, her mother Agnes Taylor, and her cherished grandson Aaron Roach.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Orthodox Church, 1004 Cornell Ave, Yakima, WA 98902. The graveside service will follow at 11:30 am at Tahoma Cemetery, 1802 Tahoma Avenue, Yakima, Washington, 98902.
