Dolores June Perrault Obituary (2023)

Surrounded by her family, Dolores "June" Perrault, 92 years old, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Cottage in the Meadow. June was born in Meeker, Oklahoma, to Clyman and Macel (Drake) Patterson, on September 5, 1931. In 1937, June was blessed with an amazing stepfather, Delbert Hill. The family headed west and settled in Yakima, Washington, where they picked hops by hand. June graduated from Yakima High School (Davis) in 1949. Life changed when she met Bernard James Perrault, a handsome boy from Moxee, and they were married on July 6, 1950, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Over the next 13 years, they were blessed with seven children. In 1962, June and Barney bought their first hop ranch in Outlook. Six years later they moved to Toppenish and purchased a 200 acre hop ranch that became Perrault Farms. In 1983, June gave up country life for city life, moving to Yakima. They later built a home outside of Yakima, where she was residing at the time of her death. June is survived by her children, Steve (Judy) Perrault, (Kay) Perrault, Scott (Colleen) Perrault, Sue (Jon Jensen) Perrault, Karen Perrault, and Debbie Perrault, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, James (Jeanette) Patterson, Kent (Pam) Patterson, Kathi Portland, Mari Jo (Phil) Joerger, and Patti Patterson, and several nieces and nephews. June is preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Perrault, sons, Dennis Perrault, Gregory Perrault, and grandson, Sean Perrault. A Viewing will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect, Moxee), from 4:00-7:00pm, with a Rosary at 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11:00am, at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
