Edmund T. Christian Obituary (1920

Edmund T. Christian passed away August 7, 2017 in Ellensburg, WA. He was born March 23, 1920, in Ellensburg to Gale and Phoebe Christian. After graduation from Ellensburg High School he joined the Army in July 1942, and served until December 1945. Serving as a railway foreman he reached the rank of Staff Sargent, received a Good-Conduct Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Medal. After returning to Ellensburg he worked at Butterfield Chevrolet as well as farmed in the west valley. Edmund married Margery Holman (Harrison) May 12, 1967 and lived happily by her side until her passing in 2000. Edmund was preceded in death by his father Gale, mother Phoebe, three brothers and a sister. Although Edmund did not have children of his own, he is survived by nieces of his brothers and multiple generations of his deceased wife Margery's family. Many of whom knew Edmund lovingly as their grandpa. Edmund's cremains will be laid to rest at IOOF Cemetery in Ellensburg, WA.
