Elizabeth 'Liz' Rose Easley Stevens

Elizabeth Rose Easley-Stevens was born April 5, 1955, in Yakima, Washington. She was the oldest of 4 children. Liz passed away at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital on July 25, 2021, with her family by her side, after fighting a short battle with cancer.

Liz grew up in Yakima and attended Davis High School. In 1975 she was blessed with a son, Rick Stevens. In 1977 she married her childhood friend, Tom Easley. This union produced a daughter, Rachelle Easley.

Liz enjoyed the outdoors, camping and riding motorcycles which brought her great joy. She loved spending time with family. Going to the ocean was something she always looked forward to.

Liz is survived by her son Ricky (Lynn) Stevens, brother Steve (Tonia) Stevens, sister Anita (Chuck) Glenn Stevens and brother Willie Stevens. She is also survived by nephews and nieces Sean (Randi) Glenn, Patrick (Sara) Glenn, Darrin (Kylie) Stevens, Darryl (Samantha) Stevens, Bryan Stevens, Kristina Stevens, Hershel Stevens and Kaylee Stevens. Great nieces and nephews; Zach, Bryce, Hunter, Robert, Jacob, Maycee, Sylas, Braxton, Kinzie and Tele.

Liz was preceded in death by her daughter Rachelle and parents Hershel and Phyllis Stevens.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Crosspoint Church, 7803 Ahtanum Road, Yakima, WA. A Potluck dinner will follow. Brookside Funeral Home is caring for the family. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.brooksidefuneral.com.
