Elvin Henry Harmon Obituary (2023)

Elvin Henry Harmon died at home on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Elvin was born in Grangeville, Idaho on June 2, 1956. Elvin is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sandy, son, Joel and grandson, Jayden; two sisters, Betty and Ellen and many nieces and nephews. Elvin was preceded in death by his parents, Henry, and Ollie; two sisters, Dora, and Bessie. Elvin was known for his giving spirit, always available to help his friends at a drop of a hat. He had a knack for building, fixing, and restoring anything he could get his hands on. But his greatest joy was serving Jehovah God. As a young teenager in Idaho, he dedicated his life to serving our Creator. His reliance on Jehovah and the promise of everlasting life on earth, helped Elvin get through health challenges and he made sure to share that hope when he spoke to people. He was loved and respected by everyone and it is a comfort to his survivors. A memorial for Elvin Harmon will be held at the East Valley Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7003 Mieras Road in Yakima, on Saturday, September 9, at 1:00pm.
