Hannah Maire Osborne

Moxee, Washington

With saddened hearts, we share that Hannah Maire Osborne, age 33, passed away unexpectedly during the last weekend of July 2026. An undiagnosed heart condition caused a cardiac arrest while she was sleeping; she simply never woke up. Her passing was sudden, and as the youngest in our family, her absence leaves an overwhelming hole in our hearts and daily lives.
Hannah was born on November 15, 1992 in Yakima, Washington. Her story began as a surprise- nine months after Valentine’s Day she became Paul and Diane's third baby girl and completed their family. In the excitement of her arrival a misspelling of her middle name was overlooked, only later discovered on her birth certificate as she applied for a passport- a small but unique detail that added to her lore. She will be remembered for her spirit- loving, bold, warm-hearted, genuine, full of joy- and always with a twinkle of mischief in her eye.
Though 33 is far too short, it feels as though Hannah managed to live her life to the fullest. She loved road trips, adventure, and traveling to new places, including many trips taken with her dad. She cherished time with family and friends and could often be found around a table or on a back porch talking for hours, laughing, and catching up. She enjoyed baking treats to share, reading historical fiction, retaining and sharing facts from her most random deep dives, making true friends, never missing a daily Wordle, spending time in the mountains and embracing life with intensity, wit, and a good sprinkle of sarcasm. Just a month before her passing, she spent her annual week at the beach with her family, adding to the memories that they will hold close forever.
Hannah was a wonderful aunt and adored her five nephews. She would spend quality time often coloring, playing games, chatting and always taking a special interest in whatever each of the boys were currently into. However, as proud as she was of her nephews, in January of 2024 Hannah experienced her greatest joy in life: becoming a mother to her son, Oliver Thomas Durrett. She was a devoted and amazing mom, loving Ollie immensely and always making him her highest priority. She took such pride in her "Ollie Pop", was endlessly delighted with his antics and regularly in awe of seeing the little person he was growing into. Her kindness, humor and loving spirit will continue to live on through him.
We find comfort knowing Hannah is reunited in Heaven with her mother Diane, whom Hannah has deeply missed since the day she died; as well as her grandparents, Teddy and Bud, Dorothy and Jim, two beloved aunties, Abbie and Kris, and an uncle-in-law, Phil. We are also sure her arms are getting a workout from petting all of the family's past dogs and cats who were waiting to greet her.
She is survived by her toddler son, Oliver; her father, Paul; her sister Whitney (Randolph) and husband Zach and their four sons; her sister Rachel and her son; her longtime partner Craig Durrett; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
To honor Hannah’s compassionate heart, please consider a donation to a local pet shelter. Anybody who knew her knows just how much she always held a special love for animals.
Hannah will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Yakima alongside her mom. There will be a private gathering for family at a later date, but no public service is planned. Since childhood Hannah had a particular affinity for elephants and we encourage you to think fondly of her anytime you see one; never forget.
