Hazel Ann Turner, beloved wife, mother, nana, and friend, unexpectedly passed away on September 8, 2024. Born on March 2, 1944, Hazel lived a life filled with love, kindness, and generosity that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the devoted wife of Larry Turner, with whom she shared 60 years of joy, laughter, and companionship. Together, they raised three wonderful children, Annette, Jeff, and Scott, who were the light of her life. As a mother, Hazel was nurturing, supportive, and always there with a warm embrace and wise counsel. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and her children were her greatest pride. Hazel was also a devoted "Nana" to her cherished grandchildren. She adored each of them and took immense joy in watching them grow, always offering her wisdom, affection, and constant encouragement. They held a special place in her heart, and her love for them was unconditional. Hazel was eagerly anticipating the birth of her first great-grandchild, preparing to offer more of the same love and devotion she gave her whole life. Beyond her role as a dedicated mother and grandmother, Hazel was a dear friend to many. She had a special gift for making those around her feel valued and cared for. Her kindness, sense of humor, and welcoming nature earned her lifelong friendships and the admiration of all who knew her. Hazel's life was marked by her unwavering faith, her love for family, and her deep sense of community. She will be remembered for her big heart, gentle spirit, and the countless lives she touched with her generosity and compassion. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry, her children, Annette (Alan), Jeff (Julie), and Scott (Tami), and her grandchildren, Bailey, Alex, Travis, Arik, Abbie, Veronica, and Madison, along with many other bonus children and grandchildren. Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Hazel Ann Turner will be dearly missed, but her spirit will remain with all those who were blessed to know her. A Celebration of Hazel's Life will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10:00am, at St. Paul's Cathedral.
