Herbert Harmon Jr

Herbert Gorden Harmon, Jr. passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019, peacefully at the tender age of 81. Herb was raised in Zillah and lived most of his life in Yakima. He graduated from Zillah High School and went on to Washington State University where he earned his bachelors degree. He started his career in the banking Industry and then transitioned into a career as a fruit broker. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to movies with his daughter (his favorite was Top Gun), boating, and good meals with family and friends. He recently enjoyed a cross country train ride with his daughter. Herb is survived by his daughter, Chantel Harmon. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura Harmon, parents, Herb Harmon, Sr. and Helen Harmon, and sister, Lee Cavanaugh. No formal services will be planned.
