Ira Fredrick Brown Obituary (2023)

On Wednesday October 25, 2023, Ira "Buzz" Fredrick Brown said goodbye for now, after a long battle with dementia, at Crescent Health Center in Yakima, Washington. Buzz was born on August 17, 1942, in Spokane, Washington, to Ira Alexander Brown and Dorothy Ardella Wheeler. Buzz was raised in Sprague, Washington, where he graduated from high school in 1961. He attended Spokane Community College, and afterwards started working for the Henning's family. Buzz then met the love of his life and married Jane Janice Fifield on April 11, 1960. They were blessed with a 63-year long marriage. They had two children, Dorothy, and David. Buzz worked for the City of Ritzville, Washington. He moved to Yakima, Washington in 1988. Buzz loved everything to do with horses including taking his daughter to her rodeos, working on cars with his son, fishing, and hunting in the blue mountains. Buzz is preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Dorothy (Wheeler) Brown, and his brother, Jack Brown. Buzz leaves behind a large circle of loved ones, his wife, Jane, his sister, Ardella, his children, Dorothy (Jeff), and David, grandchildren, Rachael, Amanda, Kyle, and Marshall, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
