Jacob Daniel Masengale Obituary (2024)

Jacob Daniel Masengale our loving daddy, son, brother, grandson, nephew & friend raced into heaven on April 25th, 2024. Born in Yakima, WA on August 6th, 1999 to loving parents David & Heidi (Bailey) Masengale, and joined his older brother Joshua, and later became an older brother to JayDee & JC-Lynn. Jacob lived unapologetically & LOVED his family with a fierce heart! Jacob was a small town kid raised in West Valley until his family relocated to Harrah in the summer of 2008. He was raised on the family farm riding horses, roping, raising & hauling hay (before he could even pick up the bales & had to roll them to his dad,) but his true passion was anything that had a LOUD motor! Fittingly, he became a Mechanic & also a Heavy Equipment Operator, holding high values in his work & in life, and loving to support small town organizations and businesses. Jacob was always a simple phone call away for anyone needing a helping hand, and his kind ways drew others to him, including countless little kids and young people that simply adored him. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping & hanging out with his buddies, family BBQs, lending a helping hand to anyone in need, and he cherished his yearly trips rounding up & branding cattle with good friends at Salt Creek in the mountains of Oregon, and playing in the dirt volunteering at Rodeo Bible Camp of Oregon! As a result of a single vehicle accident at the entirely too young age of 24 years old (PLEASE BUCKLE UP!!), Jacob leaves behind the JOY OF HIS LIFE - his 16 month old daughter, RaeLynn Jean (RJ) Masengale, his BEST FRIEND Cinch, his girlfriend Chloe McLean, loving parents David & Heidi (Bailey) Masengale, brothers Joshua Masengale (Rylee) and JayDee Masengale, sister JC-Lynn Masengale, niece Presley Lou, nephew Ripley Roan, chosen sisters Krysta Schroyer (Daniel) and Tasha Bellings, grandparents George & Sandy Masengale and Ken & Pam Bailey, the best ever aunts Stacie Seward (Ken), Amanda Burns (Stacy), Mary Bailey, LeLoni Bailey, Wanda Masengale, and Joy Jeffries, uncles Steve Bailey, Mike Bailey, & Jeff Masengale, countless cousins, and close buddies Kyle Belton, Jake Petty, & Kameron Schmidt. As we say, "See you later" to Jacob, we celebrate his life & a heart well loved! All are welcome to his Celebration of Life that will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Central Washington State Fairgrounds in Yakima, WA in the Modern Living Building! Jacobs parents would like to give a special THANK YOU to EVERYONE for all the love, support, & prayers being poured out on our family during this heartbreaking time! We are overwhelmed & humbled by the love shown in honor of our sweet boy!
