James "Jimbob" Ledesma, Jr. Obituary (1976 - 2026)

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved James "Jimbob" Ledesma, Jr. on June 24, 2026. Jimbob, as we affectionately knew him, was a beacon of light and love to all who knew him. Born on December 8, 1976, in Stockton, CA, James was a loving, supportive, generous, and resilient man. As his daughter, I can attest that he was a model of perseverance, always reminding us that "Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient." James was a man of many talents and passions. He received his GED and trained to become an electrician, a profession he took great pride in. A true family man, he cherished spending time with his loved ones, and his generosity extended beyond his family to his friends and community. His hobbies included going to the lake, camping, and immersing himself in music, always with his family by his side. His sense of humor was infectious; he was always cracking jokes and helping others feel better. He was a problem solver, always ready to listen and help resolve issues. He was a longtime resident of Selah, Washington, but he carried his Stockton roots in his heart. He is survived by his wife, Terrie Ledesma, and his children Alicia, Sarah, James 3rd, Samantha, and Summer Ledesma as well as his brother Tom and Niece Kourtney. He was also a proud grandfather to Anthony and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and James Sr., and his sister Serina Ledesma. To quote the poet Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." That rings true for our Jimbob, whose love, support, and resilience will continue to live in our hearts.
