James Timothy Holmes Obituary (2024)

James Timothy Holmes (Tim) passed away on October 25, 2024, at his home in Sunnyside, WA. He was born on August 31, 1953, in Yakima, WA. Tim is survived by children, Chloe Liang, Shelby Smith and Luke Holmes; grandchildren, Aidan, Cora, Maple, Holly and Douglas; and sisters, Linda (and Wayne) Sieveke and DeAnna Shields. He was preceded in death by parents, Lyle and Corrie Holmes. Tim loved traveling but was happiest when spending time in the mountains, working in the woods or enjoying the beauty of nature. The family would like to thank Grandview Assisted Living and Sunnyside Prestige Care facilities who provided a caring home for Tim for several years, and Chuck Dunham, a long-time family friend, who came alongside his sisters to provide support when Tim needed it. Thank you, Monty Schilperoort also for being a true friend. Psalm 139:16 "...All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
