Katheryne E. Gibson Obituary (1988

Katheryne Elizabeth Gibson passed away on July 16, 2018. She was born to Charla Greenough and Donald Gibson on September 22, 1988 and was such a joy to have in our lives. Her passing has left a hole in the lives of all she touched. Katie loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed dancing in the kitchen to loud music while cooking with her girls and seldom visited without a dish in her hand. She loved family game night and spending time with her loved ones and dogs. Katie truly loved the mountains, getting away for a while, and being carefree and happy. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. She enjoyed dressing up, doing crafts, coloring her hair, and watching Hocus Pocus and Harry Potter. Nothing was better than Halloween night with her family. Katie endured many heartbreaks and battles in her short life. Her heart and soul went into helping others and making them happy, not knowing she meant the world to each of us. Her daughters were her pride and joy, and nothing made her happier than their smiling faces. Katie was an organ donor and has made a huge difference in so many more lives. She is survived by her husband, David Holtzclaw, 33, daughter, Kuriania Irene Holtzclaw, 10, daughter, Trinity Judith Nave, 8, mother, Charla Greenough, step father, Courtney Greenough, sister, Emily Robinson, sister, Maddy Robinson, grandmother, Georgene Triplett, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones. Katie wished to be cremated and later have her ashes spread in the woods where she was happiest and at peace. There will be a Memorial Service held at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect, Moxee, WA 98936) on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00AM. Please come and remember with us the beautiful side of her life.
