Kerry Gere Conrad Obituary (2023)

Kerry Conrad was born December 5, 1964, to Purdy and Norma in Yakima, Washington. Kerry passed September 6, 2023, after a strong and courageous battle with cancer. Kerry grew up and was educated in the Yakima Valley, later choosing to work different jobs within agriculture. Kerry will be remembered as a fun-loving person, who always helped his family and friends when needed. His sense of humor was amazing, always laughing at his own jokes, before he even got to the punchline. Kerry enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, football, NASCAR, and playing cards with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with the ones he loved. Kerry is preceded in death by his mother, Norma Thompson, stepfather, Don Thompson, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his father, Purdy Conrad (Marti) of Yakima, his longtime girlfriend, Shelley Bowen of Yakima, his children, Traci Milner (Cody) of Selah, and TJ Laws (Sarah) of Maple Valley. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Isabella, Connor, Lucas, Noah, and Owen, his siblings, Rob Conrad (Stephanie), Crystal Thompson, Jamie Thompson (Kari), and close cousin, Debbi Asuncion, all of Yakima. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 1:00pm, at the Conrads residence in Yakima. Brookside Funeral Home is caring for the family.
