Leroy Thomas Kelley Obituary (2024)

Leroy Thomas Kelley, 84, of Yakima, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024. He was born on September 16, 1940, in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, to Frank and Laura Kelley. In September 1965, Leroy married the love of his life, Gayle. They celebrated their 59th anniversary! He was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Leroy's warmth and kindness touched the hearts of his family and friends, who cherished him deeply. A passionate gold miner, Leroy spent countless joyful hours with his brother Melvin, sharing stories, and creating memories. His entertaining spirit and ability to connect with people made him a beloved figure in the community. Leroy had a remarkable gift for storytelling, and those who met him were always drawn to his infectious laughter and genuine character. Though he will be profoundly missed, we find comfort in knowing that Leroy is now in heaven, watching over us. A Memorial Service will be held at Breakthrough Church, in Union Gap, on November 23, 2024, at 11:00am. Brookside Funeral Home is caring for the family.
