Michaela Buckholt Obituary (1995

Michaela Louise "Mickey Lou" "Mouse" Buckholt, age 27, passed away on March 16, 2023, receiving her wings alongside her cousins, Justin, and Chelsea Poole, as a result of a tragic automobile accident. Michaela was born to Joe and Katherine "Katie" (Roemer) Buckholt, on June 4, 1995, in Yakima, Washington. Michaela grew up in Yakima and attended West Valley schools. Michaela was the light of every room that she walked into. Michaela was confident and fearless. She cared for everyone, and there was not a person or animal that she did not want to help. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. Michaela loved every animal, especially horses. She fostered many animals, no matter what kind. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Some favorite memories are the family trips to Disneyland and Disneyworld, the Oregon Coast, and Montana. It was her dream to live in Montana and raise horses. Michaela is preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph Roemer, Phyllis Roemer, and Joyce Coke, great-grandparents, W.F. and Dexter M. Buckholt, Alban and Katherine Roemer, uncle, James D. Buckholt, cousins, Christy De'Ann Moss, James Buckholt Jr. "Little Jamie" and Tanya Nycole Moss. She is survived by her parents, Joe and Katherine "Katie" (Roemer) Buckholt, brother, Joey, uncles and aunts, Jacky D. Buckholt, William L. Steele, Marvin Wallawine, Marilyn Buckholt, Tena Buckholt, Cheryl Buckholt Mansell, Darlene Buckholt, Kristin Wallawine, Jimmy Buckholt, and Carolyn Roemer, cousins, Christopher Gaston, JJ Freeman, David Gaston, Justin Buckholt, Jeffery Buckholt, Nikki Poole, Amy Wallawine, Caitlin Illman, Ryan Illman, Erin Roth, Sean Roth, and Tess Roth. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 10:00am, at St. Paul's Catholic Church. A Graveside Service at Terrace Heights Memorial Park will follow.
