Norma Jean Evers

Jeanie was born November 19, 1931 in Old Shawneetown, Illinois to John Fisher and Rose Walkins. She moved to Moxee, WA, was married in 1950, and had four children. Jeanie worked hard all her life. She worked for Moxee School District in the kitchen and had a home daycare for many years and loved the children she took care of. She also worked as a transportation driver for People For People until she retired. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, reading, and gambling.

Jeanie is survived by her children and their spouses, Kitty (Steve) Ingram, John (Sherry) Evers, and Jodi (Jeff) Munly, grandchildren, Craig (Denise) Ingram, Torey (Roger) Fisk, Ryan Evers, and Kyle Munly, great grandchildren, Leah Fiddler, and Rilan and Addyson Evers, and her sister, Willadene Pinkston. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Rhonda Evers, her sister, Rosemary, and brothers, Buddy and Vernon.

At Jeanie's request, there will be no formal services. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Union Gospel Mission or a charity of your choice in care of Brookside Funeral Home (PO Box 1267, Moxee, WA 98936).
