Patricia Ann Lafferty

Patricia Ann Lafferty was born to Milton and Doris Peterson on August 22, 1937, in Moorhead, MN. Patricia passed February 22, 2025, in Yakima, WA. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lafferty, granddaughter Elizabeth Payne, great-grandson Bryce Asuncion, her two sisters Norma Frost, Jenette Hawley, and her brother Kenneth Peterson.

Patricia is survived by her daughters Norma Catron, Tonya Mason, Marcy Watkins, her grandsons Johnathan Ard, Kevin Mason, Nolan Catron, a great granddaughter Legacy Mason, two sons-in-law Mark Nichols, Dan Catron, her siblings, including spouses, brother Darrell and Judy, brother Allen (Skeeter), brother Dennis (Nipper) and Connie, brother Marlen (Buzzy), brother Johnny and Joyce, sister Marlene (sissy), sister Cheryl, sister Janet and Steve, sister Julie and Bob, sister Joanne, and sister Jamie and Richard. Patricia had numerous nieces and nephews and love she loved each and everyone.

As a young girl, Patricia followed her family from Minnesota to Washington state. Years later after starting her own family, Patricia and daughter Cathy relocated to the Yakima Valley. This is where Patricia and Charles met, married and completed their family, residing in the valley over 60+ years until passing.

Patricia was a very hard worker. She worked various jobs in the fruit warehouses, being a seamstress to management in the food and beverage industry.

Patricia was all about her family! She loved having family and friend gatherings. There was always room for one more! She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, watching a good old movie and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. Patricia was a giving woman, with true love, compassion and a warm smile for everyone. Patricia is now with God. She will be forever in our hearts and truly missed.

Patricia's Service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29th at 10:00am. Reception to follow.
