Patricia Lucille Anderson Obituary (2023)

Patricia Lucille (Haigh) Anderson passed away July 30, 2023, in Yakima, Washington, from dementia. Patty was born April 25, 1938, to Francis and Elvira Haigh. She graduated from high school in Seattle and went on to graduate from Central Washington University, with a degree in teaching. Patty taught for a couple years before having her first two children. Once she had children, she purchased Mike's Tavern with her dad and ran the day-to-day operations. While running the tavern, she met Larry Anderson. They married on April 28, 1971, and were married for 51 years. Patty loved playing pool in the Upper Valley Pool League, bowling. She was also a former member of Mt. Adams Golf Course and the Yakima Country Club, where she enjoyed playing golf. Patty was very active for numerous years with Washington Junior Golf Association, running their district and state tournaments. Patty and Larry were also the Host Coordinators for the WIAA State Basketball tournaments at the Sun Dome, before retiring in 2020. Patty loved watching her grandchildren play sports and going to the East Valley Basketball games. Patty is survived by her sons, Rabi Raab, and his wife, Jennifer and Erik Anderson, and his wife Sara, daughter, Coni Rogers, grandchildren, Danielle Rogers, Alyson Gantt, and her husband, Meshach, Andrew Raab, and his wife, Emily, Adam Raab, Harper Anderson, Brooks Anderson, and her great-grandchildren, Bentley Gantt, Lyndin Gantt, and Asher Gantt. She is also survived by her sister, Rita Harvill and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by Larry, in September 2022, and by her parents.
