Randall Dean Yeager Obituary (2025)

Randall Dean Yeager, age 67, peacefully passed away with family at his side on February 28, 2025. Randy was born in Anchorage, Alaska, before it was a state, to Royce and Caroline Yeager and was the fifth out of 7 children. Randy was raised in Yakima, Washington He graduated from East Valley High School, with the class of 1975 and later attended Perry Technical Institute then went on to complete his Bachelors. His career included working for three years in the Marshall Islands, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Randy finished his career being a Maintenance Engineer at a major hospital in New Orleans. He loved the South and made his home in Slidell, Louisiana from the early 2000's on. Randy had many passions and hobbies that brought him joy. He was a world traveler, scuba diver, mountain climber, enjoyed white water rafting in Costa Rica, vacations in Thailand, floating The Amazon River, golfing in Scotland to name a few. Randy is survived by his mother, Caroline Arnold (Metz), brother, Royce Yeager, sisters, Terry Rundell, Sheri Mart, Diane Peterson, brother-in-law, Rudy Apodaca and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Royce Yeager, and sisters, Kathy Apodaca and Denise Yeager. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at 1:00pm, with a reception directly following at Brookside Funeral Home in Moxee.
