Ronald Paul Foster

Ronald Paul Foster, 82, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on October 2, 2026. Ron was born in Hastings, Minnesota, and grew up in Richland, Washington, alongside his four brothers and sister. Hen was a graduate of Richland High School and lived in the Tri-City area for many years before retiring to the Yakima area.

Ron enjoyed camping, hunting, and racing. He had a generous spirit, a warm sense of humor, and a gift for making people smile. He was always willing to lend a hand and give his time to help others.

Ron’s Catholic faith was an important part of his life. He was a devout Catholic and a Fourth-Degree Knight of Columbus, reflecting his dedication to his faith, church, and community.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley; three brothers; and his sister. He is survived by his two daughters and son, 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, as well as his extended family and many friends who will remember him fondly.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church in Yakima on October 15th at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church or to a charitable organization supporting Alzheimer’s care and research.
