Wendy Lynn Gambrell Obituary (1967 - 2026)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wendy Lynn Gambrell, who left us on January 31, 2026, at her home in Yakima, Washington. Wendy was born on October 18, 1967, to Michael Wilson and Claudette Henry. Wendy worked in the health care industry for many years, where she made a meaningful difference in the lives of others through her compassion and dedication. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, Lucy and Milo. Wendy truly lived for being their grandmother. She loved camping with friends and family, especially spending time gathered around the fire pit at home. Wendy had a deep love for her dogs and enjoyed raising many different animals throughout her life. Wendy was a beloved spouse, mother, grandmother, daughter, sibling, and aunt. She touched many hearts with her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit. She is survived by her spouse, Daniel Gambrell; her son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Caitie Cupples; her grandchildren, Lucy and Milo Cupples; her siblings, Lisa (Robert) Eads, David Henry, and Randy Henry; and her stepfather, Pat Henry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. Wendy’s memories will be cherished always. She was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can say. A celebration of life will be held when the weather warms. All will be notified once the date has been set.
