William Haines

William 'Mr. Bill' R. Haines, 73, of Yakima, peacefully passed into the presence of Jesus, to play his guitar with King David on May 1, 2018. He was born on September 19, 1944 in Rochester, WA to William and Floraine Haines. He married Diana Clancy on August 1, 1970. He was blessed with 4 children, Dorene, Bob, Tanisia, and Jason.
Mr. Bill worked in the West Valley School District as a custodian for 20 years, where he developed many friendships with students and staff. He also enjoyed playing his guitar since he was 12 years old. He loved to go fishing and work in his garden. Above all else, he cherished his family and his faith.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diana Haines, and their children, Dorene (David) Winter, Bob (Shauna) Schuening, Tanisia (Ryan) Pennington, and Jason (Kate) Haines, as well as their 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
